Comments Regarding the Postsecondary Student Success Grant Program

In June 2024, The Department of Education released the proposed priorities, requirements, and definitions for use in the Postsecondary Student Success Grant (PSSG) program

New America's higher education team submitted public comments echoing our support for the PSSG program and highlighting areas where the rules can improve to make sure the PSSG competition can uplift, not disadvantage, colleges and universities that serve a significant number of underserved students but lack the resources and experience in implementing evidence-based practices.
