Drew Herrick is a Political Science PhD candidate specializing in international relations and research methods at George Washington University. He was also a nonresident National Cybersecurity Fellow at New America and a RAND researcher. Previously, he was selected as a RAND Summer Associate, worked as a Research Associate at The Mershon Center for International Security Studies, and as a Political Risk Consultant. His research primarily focuses on the intersection of international security and technology, especially strategic counter-norm activity, offensive social media operations, and the military value of cyber capabilities. He holds a Masters in Political Science from George Washington University, and a Bachelors in Political Science, Philosophy, and International Studies from The Ohio State University.
