Bernard L. Schwartz served on the New America board from 2004 to 2010 and was a long-standing supporter of the flagship Fellows Program.
His support was critical for allowing a new generation of public-minded writers to produce bold and ambitious work. Many of the 40 Bernard L. Schwartz New America Fellows went on to produce books, including six New York Times bestsellers.
New America and the Fellows Program are grateful for his years of support.
