Ann Duffet, PhD

Public Opinion Research Analyst, FDR Group

Ann Duffet, PhD has been conducting public opinion research since 1994. She started her career in survey research at Louis Harris and Associates, where she conducted both public and proprietary opinion research on health care, public education, women′s issues, and youth violence. She moved on to Public Agenda—a nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization—rising to become Senior Vice President and leading dozens of quantitative and qualitative opinion studies on social policy issues. In 2005 she ventured out to co-found the FDR Group, where she gets to do the research work she loves for organizations and issues she cares about.

Before becoming a public opinion research analyst, Ann held positions as an organizer for the National Organization for Women and as staff liaison to the Board of Trustees of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a national medical association. She has more than 30 years under her belt working with and for nonprofits.

Ann holds a PhD in sociology from CUNY Graduate Center. She also has an MPA from San Francisco State University and a BA in Communications and Elementary Education from Iona College.
