Ashley Clark is the higher education program intern for the Education Policy program. She is a master’s candidate in the Higher Education, Student Affairs, and International Education Policy program with a concentration in higher education at the University of Maryland, College Park. Her interests include how publicly financed financial aid can improve access and retention for students, rural student college success, and the politics of higher education accountability and finance.
Prior to enrolling at the University of Maryland, she served as a teacher in Jacksonville, Florida and as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Slovakia. She holds a BA from Marshall University.
