Aurélie Rapenne currently serves as the Global Director of the Global Development Initiative at CPI, based in Berlin, Germany. Throughout her career, Rapenne has worked with leading international and bilateral organizations such as UNICEF, UNDP, and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She has worked across diverse regions, including Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, gaining invaluable experience in both development settings and complex emergencies.
In addition to her fieldwork, Rapenne has held key positions in headquarters in New York and Geneva, where she has engaged in political negotiations at the United Nations. In New York, she worked for the Office of the UNICEF Executive Director and supported the creation of multi-stakeholder alliances such as Generation Unlimited. She also coordinated the participation of the Executive Director at multiple high level political alliances. Her expertise spans from field programming to navigating diplomatic channels, enabling her to make a meaningful impact on a global scale.
