Azeb Madebo was a fellow with Ranking Digital Rights. Madebo is a rising 4th year Ph.D. student at USC's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. Her research focuses on the African diaspora–specifically regarding development, ICTs, and civic engagement within sub-Saharan Africa. While at New America, she will be aiding in an evaluation study of Ranking Digital Rights’ Corporate Accountability Index.
