Brandon Hill is a Digital Communications Intern for the Education Policy Program at New America. Originally from Waldorf, Maryland, Hill is a current fourth-year student at George Washington University studying Political Communication with a minor in Sociology.
Prior to his role at New America, Hill was a Ninth Grade Mathematics Teaching Fellow at Breakthrough Collaborative of Greater Philadelphia. Hill has also spent time working in the non-profit sector and has developed a passion for addressing racial inequities in education through research and communications.
Having spent most of his life in the DC Metro Area, Hill has learned about and interacted with a number of barriers to education and hopes to combat them as a teacher. As a Communications Intern, Hill is excited about the opportunity to interact with some of the brightest and most ambitious thinkers in the field in order to communicate a vision of educational equity for all.
