Caroline Knox was vice president of finance and operations at New America, responsible for the organization's budgeting and financial administration, as well as its day-to-day operations. A native of Thomson, Georgia, Caroline most recently served as director of operations for the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget and for Watson & Knox, Inc. Prior to that, Caroline practiced labor and employment law with Troutman Sanders LLP in Atlanta. Before practicing law, Caroline worked as an account manager at Pritchard & Jerden, Inc. in Atlanta and as an investment banking analyst at Morgan Keegan in Memphis, Tennessee. Caroline earned her B.B.A., summa cum laude, in finance and marketing and her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia. Caroline lives in Arlington, Virginia with her daughter, Mimi.
