David Tandberg, PhD, is the vice president for policy research and strategic initiatives at the State Higher Education Executive Officers Association (SHEEO). Previously, he served as an associate professor of higher education and an associate director of the Center for Postsecondary Success at Florida State University, and as a special assistant to the secretary of education in the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
