David Zikusoka is a national security professional with a decade-and-a-half of high-level practice across the White House, Pentagon, and think tank community. He most recently served in government as Special Assistant to the Secretary of Defense, where he covered technology and innovation issues. Immediately prior to working for the Secretary of Defense, he served as Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Space Policy. He also served as Policy Director at the U.S. Cyberspace Solarium Commission and Senior Advisor for Weapons of Mass Destruction and Non-proliferation to then-Vice President Joe Biden. He holds a bachelor's degree in history from Harvard University and a master's degree in public policy from Princeton University.
