Edward Salo, PhD is an associate professor of history and the associate director of the Heritage Studies PhD Program at Arkansas State University. Before coming to A-State, Dr. Salo spent 14 years as a consulting historian working for federal, state, and local governments, as well as private firms on projects all across the globe. His research interests include military history, applied history, protecting heritage during times of conflict, and the cultural study of war comic books.
