Gabriela Perez is a content strategist focused on language access. She has worked on improving and standardizing translation practices and preferred terminology to enhance readability for non-English speakers at the City of Austin. She has also worked developing and executing culturally inclusive qualitative research plans at AVANCE and the Texas General Land Office. She holds a PhD in Latin American Literatures and Cultures from the University of Texas in Austin.
