Glendora Meikle is an independent consultant based in Washington, DC. She was previously the deputy director of the International Reporting Project (IRP), a former New America program. Prior to joining IRP, she worked as an editor and media liaison at United Nations Headquarters in New York, coordinated a University College Dublin Volunteers Overseas (UCDVO) project in Tanzania, and was a project director for the nonprofit organization Operation Fistula.
Glendora has a master’s degree in media and international conflict from the Clinton Institute at University College Dublin. She has written for NPR and the Guardian, among others, about global health, international development, media studies, and the ethics of humanitarian aid.
