Ivy Sullivan facilitates the sharing of evidence-based best practices within the PAYA Network – a national learning community of over 70 youth apprenticeship programs. Her efforts bring together industry, philanthropy, education leaders, intermediaries, and state and local policymakers to connect young people to quality youth apprenticeship programs and in-demand careers.
Prior to joining New America, Sullivan worked at the consulting firm Whiteboard Advisors. There she managed a portfolio of clients that offered innovative pathways from the classroom to the workforce and edtech solutions that encouraged lifelong learning.
In previous roles, Sullivan worked at the University of Virginia’s edtech accelerator, The EdTech Evidence Exchange; and at The Posse Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to providing tuition and mentoring support to high school seniors.
Sullivan holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from The University of Chicago.
