Jasmyn Gilmore (she/her) earned her undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor certificate in African American Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park last spring. She is currently a second year Master of Public Policy student at UMCP. Her research interests include the intersection of social policy (i.e. education and housing policy) and issues of racial inequity. Over the past several months, she has been working with the Inclusive Technology team for her final capstone project to contribute to an understanding of how culturally responsive education/pedagogy (CRE) and open education resources (OER) are being implemented in education spaces.
Outside of her academic and research interests, Jasmyn is an avid Disney and Marvel fan that enjoys working out, reading, and embarking on new experiences with those she loves.
