Jessica Weeden is a service designer and researcher specializing in healthcare and civic tech and a Senior Design Lead with the New Practice Lab.
Prior to joining the New Practice Lab, Weeden worked at CVS Health working to build world class tools and services to facilitate the delivery of value-based care to kidney patients. She also previously spent 4 and half years at the U.S. Digital Service working on modernizing the Medicare claims processing system, which pays for the healthcare of 40 million Americans, leading user research efforts on maternal healthcare to inform federal policy, and increasing transparency in the asylum applicant experience. Jessica holds a master's of design from Carnegie Mellon University and bachelor's degree in art, media, and design from DePaul University.
She currently lives outside Seattle with her husband, son, and two cats. She always has a new book to recommend.
