In 2012, Kaitlin began her career in early childhood education with Acelero Learning Head Start in Las Vegas—first serving as a pre-k teacher and then as assistant center director. She went on to teach pre-k in the Clark County School District for five years before leaving the classroom. As Education Programs Professional for the Nevada Department of Education, Kaitlin supports the Nevada Ready! State Pre-K Programs and statewide B-3 work.
