Katie Oran is a Future of Property Rights Intern with New America, and is currently earning her Master’s degree in City and Regional Planning at Cornell University. She previously served as a CivicSpark Fellow with the Community Corporation of Santa Monica, working to expand the capacity of local governments to build more affordable housing. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Planning, Policy, and Law from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, and focuses her research on the intersections of climate change, displacement, and migration.
