Keithlee Spangler

Keithlee Spangler was a program associate with the New America DC team, a collaborative and cross-sectional research project exploring the impact and reach of national organizations in the communities they're rooted in. She worked to develop field strategy and research methods, map peer engagement in D.C., and conduct outreach to key partners and institutions throughout the District.

Prior to starting at New America, she worked on tax policy and food security issues as an Emerson National Hunger fellow with Earthworks Urban Farm in Detroit, MI and RESULTS Education Fund in Washington, D.C. She has also worked as a high school educator in Northern California, a restorative justice facilitator on the West coast, and a community organizer in northeastern Missouri. She graduated with a B.A. in Social Economics and Environmental Ethics from Truman State University in 2014.
