Lisette Partelow is an independent consultant whose work includes research, writing, strategic advising, and project management in a variety of issue areas, with an emphasis on education policy. Her previous roles include senior fellow and senior director of strategic initiatives at the Center for American Progress, first grade teacher in Washington, DC, senior legislative assistant for Rep. Dave Loebsack (D-Iowa), and legislative associate at the Alliance for Excellent Education. She has also worked at the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Education and Labor and as a research assistant at the American Institutes for Research.
Partelow holds a master’s degree in public affairs from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs, a master’s degree in elementary education from George Mason University, and a bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College.
