Madeleine Greene is a former intern with the Partnership to Advance Youth Apprenticeship (PAYA) at New America. After beginning her career as a middle school teacher in Chicago and Gary, Indiana public schools, Madeleine developed a passion for equitable education policy. Her experience organizing for her union sparked an interest in the intersections of education and labor policy.
Madeleine is currently a candidate for her master of public policy from the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy. With a focus on education policy analysis, Madeleine has supported research and writing at several education policy nonprofits in Illinois, including Advance Illinois and the Partnership for College Completion.
Madeleine holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University with minors in political science and Spanish.
