Madison Harris is an intern at Planetary Politics and an undergraduate student in International Law and Policy Analysis at Indiana University focusing on the intersection of national security and international human rights.
Prior to working in this position, Harris led a team researching hybrid threats in Europe through the Diplomacy Lab, a public-private research partnership with the US State Department. She has also participated in the University of Oxford’s COVID-19 Government Response Tracker program where she updated a 3-year database of government pandemic policies and authored final reports summarizing the data.
Additionally, Harris previously served as an intern for VOICE Corp., a nonprofit in Indianapolis dedicated to empowering youth and encouraging economic self-sufficiency. There, she conducted research on the impacts of consent education on sexual violence and organized a statewide conference on youth-centered policies.
