Mallory Sheff leads DataKind’s portfolio of work to support the economic resilience and wellbeing of individuals and communities around the world. She guides social impact organizations and pro bono experts to successfully design and execute data science projects that ladder up to scalable solutions. A data-driven social impact professional, Mallory has over 10 years of experience in strategic planning and program implementation in countries including South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, and Ghana. She leverages her international expertise and cross-cultural knowledge to collaborate with experts in academia, policy, and nonprofit organizations, bridging the gap between resources and the populations who need them. Previously, Mallory managed a 5-year health systems strengthening implementation research project where she sharpened her qualitative, quantitative, and system thinking analytical skills.
Mallory holds an MPH in Epidemiology from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and a BA in International Development Studies from The George Washington University.
