Marci Harris was a 2016 New America CA fellow. She is cofounder and CEO of POPVOX, a civic startup dedicated to effective civic participation and good governing.
Prior to founding POPVOX, Harris worked in the U.S. House of Representatives covering tax, trade, and health for a senior Ways and Means member. She got her start in public service as Tornado Recovery Coordinator for Jackson, Tennessee.
Harris holds a B.A. in International Relations from Franklin University in Lugano, Switzerland, a J.D. from the University of Memphis, and an LL.M. from the American University Washington College of Law. She is an inaugural Technology and Democracy Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government’s Ash Center.
