Margerite Blase was a Legal/Public Policy intern with New America's Open Technology Institute, working with the platform accountability and privacy teams. She is currently attending the University of California, Berkeley School of Law where she is co-president of PrivLab, a student-run organization focusing on technology and privacy law. Prior to law school, she worked as a data operations manager for a technology start-up in New York that specializes in location-data for analytics. Her work there led to her interest in technology policy and protecting consumer data, areas she is excited to be working on at OTI. Margerite received a B.A. in Organizational Studies from Pitzer College.
