Marjorie Xie

Marjorie Xie is a postdoctoral research scholar in the AI and society program at the School for the Future of Innovation in Society at Arizona State University and the New York Academy of Sciences. She currently studies the neurocognitive basis of mood disorders, in collaboration with labs at the Center for Computational Psychiatry at Mount Sinai in New York City. Her work leverages AI and neuroscience to address critical challenges in mental health care, with a broader vision toward public health impact. Previously, she interned at Basis Research Institute, building AI tools for reasoning about collaborative intelligence in animals. She completed her PhD in neurobiology and behavior at Columbia University and received her AB degree in computational neuroscience (independent concentration) at Princeton University.
