Matthew Marcus is currently a Federal Broadband Program and Policy Analyst with the State of Wisconsin’s Broadband Office. Until recently he served as a Policy Analyst and Graduate Student Intern at OTI’s Wireless Future Project, where he conducted in-depth research and analysis related to US spectrum policy, FCC Universal Service Fund programs, and community anchor institution broadband networks.
Before joining OTI, as a freelance researcher and writer, Marcus contributed to a publication for New America's Future Of Land and Housing Initiative. Previously, Marcus was a Policy Research Intern at the Institute for Local Self-Reliance's Community Broadband Networks Initiative. Marcus holds a M.A. in International Public Affairs from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
