Michael Razeeq is an attorney with a wide range of experience advising and supporting global companies. Razeeq is licensed to practice law in New York and Texas, and he holds certifications in IAPP CIPP/US and GIAC Law of Data Security and Investigations certifications.

Razeeq presented at the 2023 Cybersecurity Law and Policy Scholars Conference at Tufts University, in which he examined volunteer civilian cybersecurity corps as a way to assist state, local, tribal, and territorial governments, and small- and medium-sized businesses, to manage increasing cyber threats.

As a #ShareTheMicInCyber Fellow, Razeeq will continue that research by examining the legal frameworks governing civilian cybersecurity corps established in several U.S. states and in other jurisdictions to identify best practices. His research will culminate in the development of a model legal framework to facilitate further development and improvement of civilian cybersecurity corps as other U.S. states consider this form of civil cyber defense.
