Michael Simeone is an Associate Research Professor in the School for Complex Adaptive Systems at Arizona State University and the Director for Data Science and Analytics at ASU Libraries. His research uses tools like natural language processing and network modeling to understand organizations, communications, and cultural trends. Simeone received his PhD in English at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship with Illinois Informatics Institute at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications.
