Muhammad Asghar is an experienced software engineer, scrum master, and now product manager. He is currently a Product Management Fellow at NYC's Mayor's Office for Economic Opportunity. He is working on MyFile NYC to reduce the time-burden and complexity of providing identification documents to the City when applying for benefits.
His interest is in the use of data science for social good causes. Passionate about civic technology and managing teams for products with high impact, he is currently pursuing his master's at Carnegie Mellon University in Public Policy and Management - Data Analytics. Prior to this he was a Software Engineer at L3Harris.
