Nia Brazzell is the Student Network Coordinator for New America's Public Interest Technology University Network.
Her work is guided by her background in the public and private sectors. Before joining New America, Brazzell was an Emerging Scholar at Princeton University's Center for Information Technology Policy where she coordinated the Siegel Public Interest Technology Summer Fellowship. In this role, she found her passion for public service and worked to reduce the barriers to entry for students wanting to break into the field of public interest technology. Prior to CITP, Brazzell managed projects to improve intellectual property content moderation in Meta's Digital Rights Operations team.
Brazzell holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Business Law and Organizational Behavior from Boston University.
