Nicole Hsu was a policy analyst on the Early & Elementary Education policy team at New America.
Hsu provides research and analysis on early childhood policies and programs that consider the broader communities and systems supporting child and family wellbeing, particularly for English learners and children with disabilities.
During graduate school, Hsu served as a policy consultant for the Alameda County Early Care & Education Program, Sacramento City Unified School District, and the North Carolina Partnership for Children. She has also worked alongside families, educators, and healthcare providers at The Primary School, an integrated health and education school in East Palo Alto, CA.
Hsu is a proud product of the California public school system, and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from UC Berkeley.
