Rafael Swit was an intern at Planetary Politics and Future Frontlines. He is pursuing a master’s degree in public affairs at the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, where he studies diplomacy, the green energy transition, energy security, and geopolitics. He is interested in exploring how data science and data-driven storytelling can increase understanding of these issues and unlock opportunities for international collaboration. Rafael comes to New America with five years of experience in international development. He served as an English teacher with the Peace Corps in Cambodia before administering leadership development programs for Mercy Corps.
In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, running, climbing, gaming, and chess.
