As the director of Rumi Consultancy, Rianna Starheim designs multimedia communications projects and writes content for clients including the United States and other embassies, the Afghan Palace and the World Bank. Starheim is currently working on articles for VQR and Himal Magazine, a Nepal-based literary journal. She studied at Dartmouth, during which she spent two years documenting a young mother struggling with addiction for 40 Towns literary magazine. She has been published in Foreign Policy, interned for several years with the Dartmouth Alumni Magazine and has worked as a reporter for a number of newspapers in Vermont, Massachusetts and New York.
