Rich Poplawski is a product manager at Opportunity@Work. From 2015-2016, Opportunity@Work was based at New America. He has over eight years of experience in product management working at The Washington Post, WeddingWire, and Personal, Inc. He has led the complete product life cycle for web-based, Android and iOS apps and features from inception to market. Occasionally you will find him sharing his knowledge and experience as an instructor at General Assembly. He brings a passion for product development and user experience to Opportunity@Work, and looks forward to developing pathways where all people have the chance to access education and find work in America's growing industries.
Poplawski holds a bachelor’s in economics from Rutgers University and a master’s in technology management from Georgetown University. In his free time, he likes traveling with his wife to off the beaten path destinations, fixing things around the house, and discovering and chasing after craft beer.
