Samarth Gupta was a fellow with the New Practice Lab. He is a currently a student at Yale Law School, and holds an AB in Economics from Harvard College and a M.Phil in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford, where he was a Rhodes Scholar. His previous research focused on evictions and housing policy, and he currently works on eviction cases for Yale Law School’s Housing Clinic. His previous experience includes internships with the White House Office of Management and Budget, the White House Council of Economic Advisers, the Senate Judiciary Committee, and the Biden-Harris Transition Team. He is an immigrant from India and grew up in Acton, Massachusetts.
