Sarit Del Spina (she/her) is the Senior Operations and Multimedia Associate at New America. Del Spina works with both New America California and the Technology & Democracy Cluster, home to initiatives like the Open Technology Institute and Planetary Politics. In her position, Del Spina leads efforts in fundraising, development, operational management, and strategic communications, ensuring that key organizational goals are met with efficiency and creativity.
Del Spina’s diverse background spans both the public and private sectors. She has previously worked in television production and development for major companies like BBC Studios, Netflix, and HBO. In addition to her media career, Del Spina has experience in library services, where she focused on enhancing patron experience and accessibility in rural Colorado. A UCLA alumna, she now resides in Rhode Island with her partner.
