Su Kim

Su Kim is a project manager at Opportunity@Work, bringing her passion for education, technology, and advocacy to the goal of equipping and facilitating employers to acquire and develop the talent needed for growth. From 2015-2016, Opportunity@Work was based at New America. 

Prior to joining Opportunity@Work, Kim was the campus director for the Washington, D.C. campus of the Iron Yard, a code and design school offering immersive technical training in commitment to making lasting change for employers, jobseekers, and communities. From 2011−2014, Kim worked in the advocacy team at the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) pushing for improvements in our immigration law and policy through education and advocacy before Congress and federal agencies. Prior to AILA, Kim advocated for domestic and international human rights at Amnesty USA and Karamah.

Kim holds a JD from The University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and a BS from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
