Tina Kelley is the co-author of Almost Home: Helping Kids Move from Homelessness to Hope and Breaking Barriers: How P-TECH Schools Create a Pathway from High School to College to Career as well as four books of poetry. She shared in a staff Pulitzer covering 9/11 at The New York Times, where she was a metro reporter for ten years. She is the senior education reporter at nj.com/The Star-Ledger. With her fellowship, she will be writing about three interracial friendships from three different generations in her suburban New Jersey town.
