Wyatt Scott was a senior research associate with New America's Resource Security program. He is a recent graduate of Misericordia University where he received his B.A. in government, law and national security. During his undergraduate studies he attended American University’s School of Professional and Extended Studies where he studied international relations and U.S. foreign policy. While in D.C., Scott completed an internship with the Truman National Security Project and attended the Summer Honors Program at the American Enterprise Institute. His senior thesis, “U.S.-Malaysia Relations: Balancing on the Fulcrum of Maritime Security and Economic Cooperation in Southeast Asia,” won him the Dean’s Scholar award.
