Zachary D. Blizard is the Data Analytics and Research Manager for the Center for the Study of Economic Mobility at Winston-Salem State University. He earned his MA in Applied Economics from UNC-Greensboro. He has published in various peer-reviewed social science journals, such as Cities, Journal of Poverty, and Journal of Planning Education and Research. His current research is focused on understanding the causes and consequences of the low upward economic mobility rates in Forsyth County, NC.
