American Zeitgeist: Crisis and Conscience in an Age of Terror

The Washington, D.C. Premiere of a New Documentary Film by Rob McGann
Event

The New America Foundation is pleased to invite you to the Washington, D.C. Premiere of a new documentary film by Rob McGann. This screening of "American Zeitgeist: Crisis and Conscience in an Age of Terror" will be followed by a panel discussion on terrorism featuring New America's Peter Bergen and William Rosenau of the RAND Corp.

The film explores the underlying fractures of the War on Terrorism from 1979 to the present. Interviewing over 40 leading voices from across the political spectrum, including Bergen, Richard Clarke, Christopher Hitchens, Tariq Ali, Steve Coll, Samantha Power, Eric Margolis and Noam Chomsky, the film seeks to engender a lively debate over key issues running through this increasingly dangerous conflict. This film delivers in-depth perspectives that tap into the core issue of the 2006/2008 election cycles.

Tickets are $5 with the promotional code "premiere," and include the film screening, panel discussion and hors d'oeuvres. They can be purchased through TicketWeb, the film's Web site, or at the door. (If you purchase at the door, be sure to tell them that you received an invite from The New America Foundation to receive the reduced ticket price.)
