Conor P. Williams is a senior researcher in the Early Education Initiative at the New America Foundation. His work addresses educational equity, bilingual education, and immigrant families. Before joining New America, he taught first grade in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. His work has appeared in The Washington Post, Commonweal, Dissent, and elsewhere.
Dr. Williams holds a PhD in government from Georgetown University, an M.S. in teaching from Pace University, and a B.A. in government and Spanish from Bowdoin College. Williams, his wife, and his two young children are based in Washington, D.C.
