Southmayd Professor of Law and Professor of Philosophy at Yale Law School for a discussion of his book Fancy Bear Goes Fishing: The Dark History of the Information Age in Five Extraordinary Hacks.

Charles F. Southmayd Professor of Law and Professor of Philosophy at Yale Law School

Scott Shapiro focuses on jurisprudence, international law, constitutional law, criminal law and cybersecurity, and he is the founding director of the Yale CyberSecurity Lab. He is the editor of The Oxford Handbook of Jurisprudence and Philosophy of Law (2002) and the author of several books, including  Legality (2011), The Internationalists (2017) (with Oona Hathaway) and Fancy Bear Goes Phishing: The Dark History of the Information Age, in Five Extraordinary Hacks.
