Trump's 'garbage' comment met with disappointment in Somalia

New America's Future Security Program data on U.S. strikes in Somalia was cited by NPR in a piece on the Somali reaction to Trump's recent comments on Somali communities in Minnesota:

U.S. forces have trained the Somali army and regularly conduct drone strikes against al-Shabab targets. Since the Trump administration took office this year, those strike rates have risen considerably according to the liberal think tank New America, citing U.S. Africa Command data.
