Be OTI's Google Public Policy Fellow!

Are you a undergraduate, graduate or law student with a passionate interest in Internet and technology policy? Do you dream about protecting free speech and encryption online? Do you write blog posts exploring the impact of net neutrality and zero rating? Then come work with OTI this summer as a 2016 Google Policy Fellow! Students from all majors and degree programs who are intrigued by technology and telecommunications policy issues are encouraged to apply. The selected candidate will work closely with OTI for ten weeks this summer. 

Fellowship Details

As an OTI Google Policy Fellow you will have the opportunity to work at the forefront of debates surrounding broadband access and adoption, government surveillance, encryption, broadband mapping, and more. Fellows could potentially be involved in more than one focus are over the course of the summer, but please let us know if you have a specific interest or related background.

As a fellow, you will have the opportunity to make substantive contributions to OTI’s work, including conducting policy research and analysis, authoring reports, attending government and coalition meetings and other activities as needed.

Applications must be received by March 25th by midnight ET. We will review applications and Google will inform you of your acceptance.
