Alex Owens is a dedicated educator with 15 years of classroom and teaching experience. Throughout this time, he has stewarded creative schools and learning environments that encourage hands-on learning, student autonomy, and collaborative problem solving.
Owens founded and manages Be Loud Studios, a nonprofit radio station dedicated to amplifying youth confidence through radio and digital media production. Owens loves to make, create and produce things. He lives in New Orleans with his family, where he enjoys renovating his home, boiling crawfish, and spending time with his adventurous kindergartener.
