Apoorva Pasricha is the chief operating officer at Cloud Apartments, a company using industrialized construction to increase the affordable housing supply.
Pasricha is an urban innovation leader whose career bridges government, start-ups, and nonprofits with a focus on making cities better. In the public sector, she served as deputy director for the City of San Jose, where she led digital equity initiatives and pioneered public-private partnerships that turned municipal cost centers into self-sustaining programs. At the Massachusetts Executive Office of Technology Services, she helped consolidate multiple state agencies to modernize digital service delivery statewide.
In the private sector, Pasricha helped build the strategic operations function at Zoox (acquired by Amazon) as it scaled from R&D to commercialization. She has also led smart-city and digital master-planning initiatives at Sidewalk Labs/Intersection, Google-affiliated companies focused on urban development.
Pasricha holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Political Science and Economics from St. Olaf College. She brings a systems-level lens to her workâconnecting technology, policy, and product innovation to create scalable solutions for the housing challenges facing cities today.
