Danielle Wilson was a communications associate with the Education Policy program at New America. She worked on digital communications strategies and media outreach supporting education policy analyses and research.
Before joining New America, Wilson worked as a coordinator for the GED and English Language Learner adult education programs for Richmond Public Schools in Richmond, VA. Her journalism experience includes research and reporting about digital education, STEM and educational technology for Education Week. Wilson's background also includes positions as an assignment desk assistant for Fox News Channel in Washington, D.C. and news content specialist for WWBT-NBC12 in Richmond, VA.
Wilson holds a master’s degree in journalism from Georgetown University and an undergraduate degree in mass communications from Virginia Commonwealth University.
